The Council of Women in Business in Bulgaria and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation conclude their New Normal project with a conference on November 4.
The forum is entitled "The New Normal for Women in Life and Work".
In the current heavy wave, the importance of the topic is even greater, said Vanya Kaneva, executive director of CWBB. Among the most important highlights are women on the front lines - doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, teachers. Attention will also be paid to the time of change and empowerment, the digitalization of work processes, the stressful environment.
The conference will present good models and examples of response in this situation with caring for people.
By 2030, half of the world's wealth is expected to be in the hands of women. But this seems to be the only positive trend, said Victoria Blazheva - First Vice President and Director of Strategy and Business at UniCredit Bulbank, a member of CWBB and one of the moderators of the forum.
However, inequalities between people will increase. In addition, in about 10 years there will be more grandparents than children. People in cities will increase by over 55%.
The forthcoming conference will not only present trends and expectations, but will also discuss solutions.
