An information seminar on the JobEase for Women was held



Today at 10:00 am at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev", Building II, Hall 2.101 was held an information seminar on "Opportunities in the labor market and existing incentives for employment." The event was organized by the Idein Development Foundation and is part of the activities of the project "JobEase for Women - Enhancing unemployed women' potential to find a job in the CBC RO-BG region", funded by INTERREG V-A Romania - Bulgaria 2014-2020 .


The event brought together unemployed women from Ruse and the region, who together discussed topics such as "The profile of the unemployed woman - in Bulgaria and in particular in Ruse", "What are the opportunities in the labor market and what incentives for employment exist", "Alternative ways to finding a job”,“ What employment opportunities, traineeships, internships and scholarships do EU employment programs offer ”and“ Labor market opportunities and existing incentives for women in Romania ”.


The seminar was attended as special guests by the Rector of the University of Ruse - Prof. Dr. Velizara Pencheva, Assoc. Prof. Vanya Serbezova from the Faculty of Public Health and Health Care, the Director of the Labor Office in Ruse - Galina Dimitrova, representatives of the Regional Employment Service Ruse and employment specialists.


The seminar also included a working group, which discussed topics such as: main causes of women's unemployment - objective or subjective factors are leading; education and employment - can only low-skilled women find work; alternative ways to look for work and lifelong learning - how to develop your qualification (or acquire a new one) while caring for your family. Participants presented different points of view on the main topics of discussion, each sharing examples from personal experience.


The event ended with an exquisite treat for the participants, which grew into an informal discussion, not only on issues from the seminar, but also on all topics related to the problems of women in society.
